Haverford College Campus and Accommodation

Haverford College campus consists of academic buildings, tennis courts, dining Centres, athletic Centres, arts building, health services centre, studio and 13 residence halls. There are more than 145 student-led clubs and organizations fulfilling the interest of every student on campus attending 180 degree consulting organizations.

Several dining programs are hosted by the campus dining centres, faculty and staff can participate to prepare or consume their favourite delicacy. There are 23 varsity teams that compete in athletics and intramural sports like badminton, crew golf, soccer etc and 53% of the entire student population play in the varsity teams. The official mascot of the college is Black Squirrels and they are present aplenty in the campus.

There are 30 clubs which are related exclusively to realize the artistic potential in students and campus galleries and exhibition centres to display artifacts or artistic creations. There are several funding events from the college where students raise funds for relevant causes.

Haverford College Accommodation

Haverford College Campus exhibits 13 residential halls. 98% of the total student population lives in on-campus student housing in USA. Four of the campus residential buildings are available for first year housing while upperclassmen are permitted to live in 11 of the residential buildings. The housing costs for the academic year 2021-22 are 10,320 USD for rooms and 6,980 USD for boarding.

Barclay House houses first years and upper class students. 118 students can be housed and facilities include single and double rooms, laundry services, suites, etc. Cadbury House can accommodate 13 people and the ground floor is dedicated entirely to faculty housing. Nine single rooms and two double rooms with quiet study spaces are available. The basement contains a common lounge and television.

Henry S.Drinker House can accommodate 18 upper class students and there are four single rooms and two double rooms. There is also a common living room available. Gummere Hall houses 156 first year students mostly in four-person suites. There are TV, coffee lounge, laundry services available and basements divided in three sections.

Jones Hall has a capacity of 64 students and houses exclusively upperclassmen. Facilities include suites with common rooms and a basement with a spaced out common room and television set.

Haverford College Programs

There are more than 675 courses at Haverford College and there is a brilliant partnership of the institute with four colleges. There are 37 majors, 40 minors and 14 concentrations for interested applicants. Haverford College Alumni
