QUT International Merit Scholarship is awarded incoming international students starting UG and PG programs in 2020. The recipients of the scholarship program are awarded a 25% tuition fee reduction.
- The scholarship is sponsored by the QUT Faculty of Science and Engineering.
- UG and PG programs of the faculty are eligible.
- International students with excellent academic records in the past can are eligible for QUT International Merit Scholarship.
Applicants must note that QUT International Merit Scholarship is a renewable scholarship program. However, for this, applicants must maintain a minimum GPA of 5.5 on a 7.0 scale

- International students must satisfy country-specific entry requirements.
- Minimum TOEFL/IELTS/PTE test score to study in Australia.

Application Process
QUT International Merit Scholarship candidates are not required to apply separately.
The applications submitted by the candidates to secure admission at the Queens University of Technology are assessed for the scholarship too.
The officials from QUT will be informed about their eligibility for the scholarship program via email.
Selection Process
The selection decision for QUT International Merit Scholarship is made on the basis of an applicant’s academic performance.
Since it is a merit-based scholarship, the recipients are the ones who have high achievements and meet the eligibility criteria set by QUT.
Furthermore, to receive the ongoing scholarship, applicants must fulfill the requirements given below:
- Maintain a minimum overall GPA of 5.5 on the QUT 7.0 scale.
- Successfully complete each academic unit.
