The New Brunswick University is a public university that was founded in the year 1785 which is having a very old and rich history of its establishment, which is also known as the oldest English-language university in Canada, and among the oldest public universities in North America. LIFE AT CAMPUS

CAMPUS LOCATION OF UNIVERSITY OF NEW BRUNSWICK

The UNB is widely divided into two campuses, UNB has two main campuses: the original campus, founded in 1785 in Fredericton, and a smaller campus which opened in Saint John in 1964. The Saint John campus is home to New Brunswick’s anglophone medical school, Dalhousie Medicine New Brunswick, an affiliate of Dalhousie University.

In addition, there are two small satellite health sciences campuses located in Moncton and Bathurst, New Brunswick, and two offices in the Caribbean and in Beijing. UNB offers over 75 degrees in fourteen faculties at the undergraduate and graduate levels with a total student enrolment of approximately 9,700 between the two principal campuses. UNB was named the most entrepreneurial university in Canada at the 2014 Startup Canada Awards.

REFUND POLICY OF UNIVERSITY OF NEW BRUNSWICK

International students (with proof of study permit refusal) who did not attend classes (in-person or virtual) are entitled to a 100% refund less a non-refundable confirmation deposit fee.  International students who choose to remain enrolled in studies remotely from their country (without a study permit final approval) who attended class standard refund policy applies. There is also a $50.00 administration charge for wiring international funds.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENT

3 YEAR BACHELOR DEGREE

To get admission in Bachelors’s degree the minimum level of education required is class 12th with min GPA of 75.0% or more.

English Proficiency Requirements:

• IELTS overall: 6.5 Band Score not less than 6.0
• PTE overall: 59 Overall Score
• TOEFL iBT: 85 Score
• Duolingo English Test Score: 115 Score

OPERATIONAL DAYS OF CLASSES

The University of New Brunswick Operates for 4 working days per week & is closed on weekends and holidays.

AVAILABLE INTAKES

To study at University one must search for the available intakes for the program you have selected, so they mainly provide you three intakes Jan 2022, May 2022 & Sept 2022. For International applicants, Sept intake is most recommendable as this intake provides most of the variety of Programs.

LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE

Once you chose your program and after submitting the application fee, the university releases its offer letter within 15 to 20 working days for which the application will be $125 CAD (non-refundable).
