Established in the year 1973 under the DLI Number O214383061827, The Great Plains College is one of the old and traditionally rich public-serving rich college in Saskatchewan that provides post-secondary education in the western part of the province, the college has become a leading edge of Saskatchewan’s regional college system. In today’s era, college has become one of the favorite choices among students who want quality education with a very affordable fee structure. The college is more focused on meeting the needs of learners, employers, and communities in western Saskatchewan.

Great Plains College Student Associations are established at the Kindersley, Swift Current and Warman Campuses. The Students of great plains college have been involved in the Olympic torch relay, mock accidents to raise awareness, community tree plantings, chili cook-offs, ball hockey challenges, casino nights, Halloween costume and ugly sweater contests, the Relay for Life, scavenger hunts, fundraising auctions, campus luncheons and bowling and pizza nights, to name a few so college offer endless opportunities for the students to become part of it.

CAMPUS LOCATION OF GREAT PLAINS COLLEGE

Great Plains College has campuses in Swift Current, Warman, and Kindersley, along with program centers in Maple Creek, Biggar, and Rosetown. Swift Current Campus is home to the only indoor fall protection and rig rescue tower in the province, SunDogs Athletics – the only competitive athletics program in Saskatchewan’s regional college system, and a recently completed $13.5 million renovation and expansion.

REFUND POLICY OF GREAT PLAINS COLLEGE

If you are refused a study permit, you are eligible to receive a full tuition fee refund of the deposit paid, less an administration fee of $200. For this, students need to request the college for a refund by submitting the requested document. The duration of the process depends on the college and may vary according to the situation.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENT

To get admission in any undergraduate diploma at Great plains college minimum level of education required is Class 12th with an overall percentage of 60.0% or more.

OPERATIONAL DAYS OF CLASSES

The Great Plains College Operates for 4 working days per week & is closed on weekends and holidays.

AVAILABLE INTAKES

Before initiate, for the admission process, the applicant must search for the available intakes for the program you have selected, so they mainly provide you two intakes in January 2022 & Sept 2022. For International applicants, Sept intake is most recommendable as this intake provides most of the variety of programs to study.

LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE

Once you chose your program and after submitting the application fee, the College releases its offer letter within 20-25 working days for which the application will be $125 CAD (non-refundable). The application fee is only refundable if the college cancel’s the program or any denial for the chosen program received.
