RMIT University Campus

RMIT has three campuses, two sites in Australiatwo in Vietnam, and a research and industry collaboration center in Barcelona, Spain. The campuses offer the following facilities to students –

  • RMIT has over 100 clubs, societies, and collectives related to music, culture, politics, sports, or academic pursuits, where students can meet new people and develop new skills.
  • There is a well-equipped gym known as City Campus Gym as well as a sports center with facilities for both indoor and outdoor sports to balance work life and health for students and employees of RMIT University.
  • The University has newly inaugurated Swanston Academic Building and Design Hub equipped with world-class facilities, research space, product testing facility, clinic etc.

RMIT University Accommodation

The University provides purpose-built on-campus student residences which are apartment complexes designed in a student-friendly environment. These complexes are located in the city of Bundoora, Carlton, and Melbourne city close to RMIT campuses. These complexes offer an array of furnished rooms which includes everything from shared rooms to studio apartments.

The prices rates of accommodations are all-inclusive but may vary depending on the type of room available. Applicants from overseas can therefore consider other student accommodation types in Australia such as private rented apartments, homestays, hostels etc.

RMIT University Application Process

RMIT University’s admission process for the degree programs can be completed online. Students have to choose a course first in their desired study level or study area. After choosing a course, they must check the minimum requirements for that particular course of studies like English language Proficiency Tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, academic entry requirements (country-specific equivalent requirements), pre-requisites and selection tasks.

How to Apply

If all the requirements are perfectly met, then they can apply and submit their online application with all the required documents. RMIT has a network of registered agents around the world to assist with program and visa application queries. Students should apply through only a registered RMIT agent.

Admission requirements: Students should make sure of having the following documents ready with them at the time of application. The below-mentioned documents should be submitted along with the application form:

  • Certified copies of academic transcripts (not required for current RMIT students applying to another RMIT program)
  • Certified copies of all graduation certificates in both the original language and English (not required for current RMIT students applying to another RMIT program)
  • Statement of purpose
  • Evidence of English language proficiency such as TOEFL/ IELTS or equivalent
  • Any documentation relating to selection tasks (pre-selection kits, folios, etc.)
  • Letter of recommendation
  • Copy of passport
  • CV, work reference referee report, etc if applicable
  • Australian Student Visa

RMIT University Scholarships for International Students

RMIT University offers a range of scholarships for international students in Australia across all fields of study. While most of the scholarships are awarded to students with outstanding academic records, some of them are also offered to students based on the program or country of origin.
