SUNY Downstate Medical Center Programs, Campus and Residence

  • The five college/schools of SUNY Downstate Medical Center offer various on-campus and distance UG, PG and Doctorate programs for international applicants. Allied Health Profession is the most ranked program offered.
  • The campus includes College of Medicine (largest medical school in the state), School of Graduate Studies, School of Public Health, College of Nursing, and College of Health Related Professions. The college also has a major biomedical research center.

SUNY Downstate Medical Center Admissions Process

  • Application: Applicants can apply online on the medical center website. The application fee is 50 USD.
  • Application deadline: Deadlines for various courses vary.  Some of the important deadlines are given below:
  1. College of Health Related Professions: May 15
  2. School of Public Health: May 31
  • General requirements: Official academic transcripts, official Programme completion certificate, mark sheets, entrance exam results, English language proficiency test scores.
  • Additional requirements: Birth certificate, passport copy, insurance documentation, valid student visa, two academic references.
