TAFE SA is registered with the national regulators, Australian skills quality authority and the Tertiary education quality and standards agency as a registered provider of vocational education in Australia. International students seeking admission must be over 17 years of age, have qualifications equivalent to Australian Year 12 with a minimum overall score of 60%. Most TAFE SA courses also ask for a minimum IELTS score of 5.5 and 5.0 in all bands.

TAFE SA Application Deadlines

TAFE has four intake seasons in the month of January, April, July and October for its two semesters. While the applications for term one, term two and term three are closed, Students can still apply for the fourth commencing in the year 2021.

TAFE SA Housing Facilities/Residence

  • Each villa houses four students and has a communal living area and kitchenette for light meals or a late-night snack, allowing students to build their own home away from home.
  • The spacious bedrooms are equipped with a desk, closet, drawers, and bookshelves, as well as telephones and wireless internet access. There is an ensuite bathroom shared between two bedrooms.
  • All meals are made and served on the premises. Students choose from the cafeteria-style kitchen and dine in the community dining area, generally with friends. The menu is diverse and varies frequently to accommodate a wide range of tastes.
  • The games area, which is located in the administration block, is a popular hangout spot with table tennis, pool, and other popular games that are a source of entertainment and laughter. In the evenings and on weekends, the common room is a popular gathering spot. There are also basketball and tennis courts accessible.

Prospective pupils planning to stay off-campus can opt for an array of student accommodation types in Australia such as homestay, rental accommodations etc.

TAFE SA Application Process

Step 1: Select a TAFE SA course or a University Pathway Program.

Step 2: Review the entry requirements as well as the information required for your application.

Step 3: Apply online or through a local agent before the closing date

Step 4: Within 8 weeks, accept your conditional or unconditional offer online.

Step 5: Receive your Confirmation of Enrolment (COE) from us via your agent or our online application system.

Eligibility Criteria

Prospective candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria before applying –

  • Age: Completed at least 17 years
  • Academic Entry Criteria:
  • Certificate III course – completion of year 10/equivalent
  • Certificate IV course -completion of year 11/equivalent
  • Diplomas, Advanced Diplomas, Associate Degree and Bachelor Degree courses – completion of year 12/equivalent
