The university’s main campus is situated within the neighborhood of Sandy Hill. The main campus is bordered to the north by the ByWard Market district, to the east by Sandy Hill’s residential area, and to the southwest by Nicholas Street, which runs adjacent to the Rideau Canal on the western half of the university.
The main campus occupied 35.3 ha (87 acres), though the university owns and manages other properties throughout the city, raising the university’s total extent to 42.5 ha (105 acres).

ADMISSION REQUIREMENT
To reserve your seat for any Bachelors Degree program at the University of Ottawa Minimum Level of Education Required is Class 12th with an overall percentage of 72.0% or more and for any master’s program, the minimum requirement is 4 years bachelors degree with 70.0% marks or more.

For Bachelors & masters Program min English proficiency requirements are :

- Duolingo English Test Score : 120 Overall

OPERATIONAL DAYS OF CLASSES
The University of Ottawa operates for 5 working days per week & is closed on weekends and holidays. The total hours of study per week for a Bachelors’s degree is 22 hrs and for Masters’s degree 18 hrs per week.
AVAILABLE INTAKES
To study at University one must search for the available intakes for the program you have selected, so they mainly provide you two intakes January 2022 & Sept 2022. For International applicants, Sept intake is most recommendable as this intake provides most of the variety of Programs.
LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE
The university has a huge program list once the applicant finalizes his/her program the applicant needs to pay the application fee, the University of Ottawa releases its offer letter within 20 working days for which the application will be $256 CAD (non-refundable).
