University of Warwick Scholarships/Financial Aid

Warwick offers financial support for international students in UK, in form of postgraduate loans, university scholarships, fee awards, to academic department bursaries, and work while study.

  • Although a limited number of scholarships are available for international students, applicants may be eligible for financial help from his/her government, from the British Council or other private funding agencies.
  • Some scholarships available at Warwick for international students include:
    • Albukhary Undergraduate Scholarships worth 20,000 GBP of funding spread over three years of continuous study in the Department of Economics, School of Engineering, or Warwick Business School.
    • GREAT Britain Scholarship – India worth 20,000 GBP for any master’s program in the School of Engineering.
    • OFID Scholarship Program covers the tuition fees, including any supplementary examination fees, as required by the academic institution. OFID also transfers a monthly allowance covering living expenses, books, and accommodation to the student’s personal bank account on a quarterly basis.
    • Pearson Research Funding is offered to the faculty members (worth 10,000 GBP)/ Doctoral students (worth 2,000 GBP)/ Master’s students (worth 1,000 GBP). The funding is offered to qualified researchers in relevant research areas.
    • Chevening Scholarships with varying worth. The scholarships support study at UK universities – mostly one-year Master’s degrees – for individuals with demonstrable potential to become future leaders, decision-makers and opinion formers.
    • Commonwealth Scholarships with varying worth is available to study in the UK, at either undergraduate, Masters, or Ph.D. study. The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission is responsible for managing the Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan.
